Oddarrang in Studio 8.-10.4

Hi everyone! We had a wonderful few days in Kallio-Kuninkala -studios this week. Our main focus was to record music for our In Cinema -movies from last years club, and we were really happy with the result. We really hope to release the movies together with the coming album in September 2013 (Edition Records). Next session will take place in Mimix studios at the end of May. Stay tuned!

Wow! What a week we had driving across dark, rainy and cold Finland. We had a tour with a young and really impressive jazz trio Virta and a brand new collaboration “Katharsis” of me and guitarist/pianist/composer Valtteri Pöyhönen. Here are some pictures from the road..

Katharsis & Virta touring in Finland

Pöyhönen – Louhivuori “Katharsis” and young jazz trio Virta will be touring in Finland in November 2012. Katharsis is a brand new experimental duo with me on drums/electronics and Valtteri Pöyhönen on keyboards/electronics. The concerts will take place in Kuopio (20.11), Tampere (21.11), Jyväskylä (22.11) and Helsinki (25.11). For more information, check out our FB event from here (in finnish).
